The Indian canine community is preparing for one of the country's most anticipated dog events as the Kennel Club of Bhopal (KCB) officially announces the 16th & 17th KCI Breed Point Championship Dog Shows, scheduled for 10–11 October 2026 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Held under the regulations of the Kennel Club of India (KCI), the event is expected to attract leading exhibitors, professional handlers, breeders, and dog enthusiasts from across India. The championship will also feature an exceptional panel of internationally respected FCI judges, reinforcing the event's growing reputation on the global dog show calendar.
In addition to the two all-breed championship shows, the weekend will feature four dedicated Breed Speciality Shows:

The Kennel Club of Bhopal has assembled a distinguished judging panel representing three countries.
An internationally respected FCI All Breeds Judge, Ms Sue Bruno has judged championship shows across several countries. She is widely recognised for her expertise in German Shepherd Dogs and Gundogs and is admired for her in-depth knowledge of breed type, movement, and overall canine structure.
Mr Jae-Yong Kim is one of Asia's experienced international judges, known for his commitment to breed standards and consistent judging philosophy. His appointments at prestigious dog shows have earned him recognition among exhibitors throughout the region.
Mr Hungchih "Jerry" Chen is a highly respected FCI International Judge with extensive experience judging across Asia. He is particularly well known within the Labrador Retriever community and has earned a reputation for fair, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented evaluations.
The championship will showcase hundreds of purebred dogs representing numerous recognised breeds. Throughout the two-day event, judges will assess each exhibit according to internationally accepted breed standards, evaluating:
