Do not exceed recommended dosage (cats are highly sensitive to overdose → risk of retinal toxicity). Not for dogs under 1 year of age, or large breeds under 18 months (risk of cartilage damage). Not for kittens under 8 weeks of age. Avoid use for prophylaxis. Wash hands after handling. Drug Interactions Do not administer with chloramphenicol, macrolides, or tetracyclines. May increase blood levels of theophylline – adjust dose accordingly. Use in Pregnancy & Lactation Safety not established in breeding female cats; use only after benefit/risk assessment. Not recommended during lactation (drug passes into maternal milk). Adverse Reactions May affect articular cartilage in growing dogs.
