Alembic Docmycin 10 Tab - 300mg What is this medicine for This medication is broad-spectrum antibiotic, prescribed for certain types of bacterial infections such as pneumonia and other respiratory tract infections, Lyme’s disease, infections of skin, genital, and urinary systems and anthrax. How does it work Doxycycline works to harm the bacteria and fight the infection. How should this medicine be used Adults: The usual dose is 200 mg on the first day of treatment in divided doses, followed by a maintenance dose of 100 mgday. Child: The recommended dosage is 2 mglb of body weight divided into two doses. It comes as a capsule and suspension to take by mouth, with food. Common side effects of this medicine Belly pain. Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. Loose stools (diarrhea). Yogurt or probiotics may help.
