It inhibits leukocyte infiltration into the inflamed tissue and prevents bone and cartilage destruction.INDICATIONS:Alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders in dogs.DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Treatment is to be continued once daily by oral administration (at 24-hour intervals) at a maintenance dose of 0.1 mg meloxicam body weight which corresponds to the daily maintenance dose for a ten kg or a 25 kg weight dog respectively. Meloxicam chewable tablets are often administered with or without food.Dosage is dependent on the idle weight oh the dog A clinical response is usually seen within 3-4 days.
