Description

PETMEDIN™ 1.25 mg Yum-Tab is a highly palatable, protein-flavored heart medication formulated for dogs suffering from congestive heart failure (CHF) caused by dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) or valvular insufficiency. Manufactured at Veko Care’s WHO-GMP certified facility, these tablets improve heart function, increase survival time, and enhance the quality of life for canine patients. Moisture-resistant blister packaging ensures long-lasting potency.

Pimobendan Ph.Eur – 1.25 mg

Indications

Management of CHF in dogs
Preclinical DCM in large breed dogs to delay onset of heart failure

Dosage & Administration

Pharmacology

Category: Inodilator (Calcium sensitizer + Phosphodiesterase III inhibitor)
Pimobendan increases calcium sensitivity in heart muscles and inhibits phosphodiesterase III, improving cardiac output and vasodilation.

Warnings & Precautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose
For dogs with cardiac insufficiency only
Avoid in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or conditions restricting cardiac output
Keep out of reach of children; accidental ingestion may cause tachycardia or hypotension

Side Effects

Rare side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or anorexia, usually dose-dependent and reversible by adjusting the dose.
