CEPHAVET 300 mg is a chewable antibiotic tablet containing Cephalexin, a β-lactam, broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is indicated for the treatment of secondary superficial bacterial pyoderma, urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, and bone & joint infections in dogs. Cephalexin interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively targeting Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., E. coli, Proteus, and Klebsiella.

      Adjust as per veterinary guidance and culture & sensitivity results

Contraindications

  • Dogs with known allergy to cephalexin or β-lactam antibiotics

  • Not for human use

Warnings & Precautions

  • Use with caution in pregnant, lactating, or breeding dogs; safety not established

  • Monitor dogs for allergic reactions or gastrointestinal disturbances

  • Keep out of reach of children

  • Vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite
