Skymac Pet Tablets are broad-spectrum veterinary antiparasitic tablets containing Ivermectin 10 mg, specially formulated for the treatment and control of a wide range of internal and external parasites in dogs and cats. These palatable tablets are effective against mites, mange, lice, ticks, gastrointestinal worms, maggot infestations, and heartworm larvae when used under veterinary supervision.
Ivermectin works by binding to glutamate-gated chloride channels and enhancing Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) activity in parasites, leading to paralysis and death of susceptible parasites while helping eliminate existing infestations and preventing future infections.
Skymac Pet is recommended for the treatment of ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), sarcoptic mange, demodectic mange, lice infestations, tick infestations, gastrointestinal nematodes, and prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis larvae. It is an important therapeutic option for dogs suffering from mixed parasitic infections.
Important: This is a prescription veterinary medicine and should only be used under the guidance of a registered veterinarian. Dosage varies according to the parasite being treated, body weight, and species.
