Dosage & Administration
Recommended dose: 5 mg/kg body weight once daily (or divided into two doses) for 3–10 days, with or without food.

Contraindications & Warnings

Not for pets hypersensitive to fluoroquinolones.

Do not exceed recommended dosage (cats are sensitive to overdosing → retinal toxicity).

Not for dogs under 1 year, or large breeds under 18 months (risk of cartilage damage).

Not for kittens under 8 weeks.

Avoid prophylactic use.

Drug Interactions

Avoid combining with chloramphenicol, macrolides, or tetracyclines.

Can increase theophylline levels; adjust dose if used together.
