Contraindications & Warnings

Do not use in animals hypersensitive to clindamycin or lincomycin.

Contraindicated in rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, horses, and ruminants (severe GI effects).

Do not use with erythromycin, chloramphenicol, or other macrolides (antagonism).

Use cautiously in dogs with severe renal or hepatic impairment; monitor blood parameters during long-term therapy.

Risk of overgrowth of resistant organisms (e.g., clostridia, yeasts).

Safety not established in pregnant or breeding dogs.

May enhance the effect of neuromuscular blocking agents.
