Savavet PROMICEF TAZO (Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam for Injection)
PROMICEF TAZO is a broad-spectrum veterinary antibiotic therapy designed for dogs and cats, formulated with a powerful combination of Ceftriaxone (third-generation cephalosporin) and Tazobactam (beta-lactamase inhibitor). This synergistic blend enhances antibacterial efficacy against resistant organisms, making it highly effective in the treatment of complex systemic and localized infections. Ceftriaxone inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to essential enzymes (PBPs), leading to bacterial lysis, while Tazobactam protects ceftriaxone from degradation by beta-lactamase enzymes, thereby extending its spectrum of activity. This injection provides reliable therapeutic outcomes in respiratory, dermatological, urinary, bone and joint, intra-abdominal, and systemic infections, ensuring optimal veterinary care.(Reviewed and presented by Vɪsʜɴᴜ Dᴜᴛᴛ Tʀɪᴘᴀᴛʜɪ | Pᴇᴛ Exᴘᴇʀᴛ, exclusively on PᴇᴛsLɪғᴇsᴛʏʟᴇ.)
